Modesty is Hot!

Ladies, don't let anyone convince you that you have to be half naked and showing all your goods in order to be considered sexy. As christian women we need to understand that modesty is HOT! There is nothing wrong with being a good girl. Let a man be attracted to you because of your smile, your eyes, how you carry yourself, and your character. I'm not saying you have to dress like a grandma. You can still look cute and be covered. All I'm saying is how you dress determines what and who you will attract.

Now, this will cut down on the number of guys that approach you. This is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you want to attract the right man for the right reasons. When the time is right, you will be able to show your husband that you're quite capable of being a sexy, bad girl just for him all day long if you want, but until then I challenge you to stop taking revealing pictures of your breast and your behind and posting them on Facebook and Twitter. A man that is really worth having will not want you just for your body, but he will be more attracted to your virtue. (marinate on that)

It's Game Time!

At last, football season is here! I'm not a huge fan of football, but I can appreciate the game. The last quarter of the game is the most exciting part for me. It seems like each team really puts their all into the game during that time which makes the game even more exciting. I have witnessed some mind blowing comebacks in the last quarter of the game!

I was reminded of just how true this concept is not only in football, but also in this game called life. Things may not have started out so well in the beginning of the year for some of you. For me, the first three quarters of this year were full of frustrations, transitions, losses, distractions, and sickness. However, I'm encouraged to put my game face on and make this last quarter count! I'm determined to do the necessary work to score a touchdown and win the game!

In order to do this, you must protect your anointing. Your focus must be on Jesus. This is not the time for distractions or pity parties. In order to reach your goals, quiet time and prayer time will be an everyday necessity. God has specific instructions for you in this season that you will miss if you do not seek His face.

You must also pay attention to who you spend time with and what conversations you engage in. Your conversations should line up with God's word. Words are powerful and listening to the wrong words can make you get out of position and abort your purpose. Surround yourself with people that speak life and not death. Get around those that are going where you want to go.

There will be some people that will not understand the place you are in during this season of your life. Timing is everything and you do not have time to waste on explaining or trying to make them understand. So, they will simply have to watch from the sidelines as you make your way down the field toward the goal. Get ready to tackle your debts, that sickness, that fear, and everything else that is trying to get in the way of your promise! It's Game Time Baby! Go Get Your Blessing!
